Cossington Parish Council
Several residents have recently reported an increase in dog fouling in the village - particularly in and around Middle Road. It has got so bad for some that they are considering their own electronic surveillance measures to help identify culprits.
Dog owners are reminded of their social and legal responsibilities to clean up dog faeces. In addition to being unsightly, smelly and messy they can carry disease.
Although the only specific dog waste bin in the village is at the entry to the cycle path in Brent Road, dog owners can also dispose of bagged dog waste in the public general purpose waste bins.
