Cossington in Bloom 2025

Cossington in Bloom 2025 has ended with Prizegiving having taken place at the Church's Big Breakfast event on the morning of Sat. 19th July - the final day of the highly successful 800th Anniversary Flower Festival

​

This year we put the focus back onto the main categories - with improved prizes. Those who were worried the judge might miss their gardens were given the opportunity to let us know in advance - so the old "Hidden Gem" category wasn't necessary. We also didn't have a "Village Hero" award this year - as that title has been deservedly commandeered by Martin Dare for the sterling work in keeping the village colourful and tidy with all his hard work throughout the year. He was still presented with a "thank you" award go garden vouchers whilst a new category for "Village Unsung Hero" was created - this going to someone who has supported Cossington in Bloom and other village events and activities for longer than mos too us can remember.
